A Bulawayo based musician Khulekani Bhethule popularly known as Khuxxman and a South Africa based artist and producer DJ Sticha have released a controversial house song that explores on issues of Gukurahundi which saw over 20 000 people in Matabeleland and Midlands in the 1980s being killed.

On a thumping commercial house beat, goes some deep provocative lyrics which talks about the brutal killings that happened in Matebeleland and Midlands in post independence.

DJ Sticha says some few minutes into the song, their vocals further stresses out that enough is enough, "we can't live in fear, yes our fathers were killed buried alive but we can't live as foreigners in our ancestors land."

It also states that "Our fathers fought for this freedom everyone has a right to enjoy the fruits of their sacrifice."

The song titled, 'Ngeke ngivume'  speaks about the struggles faced by  average citizens who are scared of raising their grievances or question those in power as that might lead to abductions and killings, it talks about "ukufela ngaphakathi njengephilisi (dying in silence) " but there's a twist at the end as the song speaks about defying the odds and gives one confidence to grab the bull by the horns, "bakwenz' abakwenzayo kudala kodwa mina ngeke ngivume noma bengigwajisa" goes the song.

The fifth brigade soldiers trained in  North Korea pounced on Matabeleland and Midlands targeting PF Zapu and late Vice President Joshua Nkomo supporters and an estimated  20 000 people were killed.
