Zimbabwe cut into two

Two very high profile music concerts set for this weekend have literally cut the country into two.
Gospel music lovers from all over the country are making their way to the Matabeleland South capital Gwanda for the biggest gospel music show to grace the country. Eight South African gospel artists supported by over twenty local artists will be sharing the stage in a two day music concert in the town.
Leading the pack of the musicians are Rebecca Malope, Hlengiwe Mhlaba, Tshepo Tshola and Lusanda Spiritual Group. The show dubbed "Bringing God to the people" is a free concert sponsored by a Zimbabwean businessman based in South Africa.
While the gospel music lovers rush to Gwanda RnB music lovers find their way to the capital city at the Borrowdale Race Course for another once in a life time music show featuring world class stars Babyface and Toni Braxton. The two musicians are making their first stop of their tour of Africa concepts which will see them visit South Africa and some North and West African countries.
According to a ZBC news report, both Babyface and Toni Braxton have already landed in the country for their Saturday concert. Hundreds of fans thronged the Harare International Airport on Thursday afternoon to welcome Babyface to the country.
Meanwhile an official at the Arts Council in Bulawayo said that the entourage of the South African gospel artist has not yet arrived in the country due to delays that were experienced in clearing them. The artists have since been cleared and are expected in the country on Friday morning for the two nights show which starts on the day they arrive.
