Lupane State University (LSU) staff have been forced to share hostels with students due to accommodation shortages.
LSU vice-chancellor, Pardon Kuipa on Friday told President Robert Mugabe that so far, 145 students and 95 staff members have relocated to Lupane.
"We are outsourcing food and other service, as our kitchen is not yet complete. It is about 80% complete.
"We have also asked our staff to share hostels with students".
Kuipa said the university has 600 computers meaning that the computer to student ratio is now 1:5.
