  • Zimbabweans on death row in Indonesia turn out to be Nigerians

    It has been established that the three alleged Zimbabweans on death row in Indonesia are not Zimbabwean nationals at all. According to the Zimbabwean embassy in that country the three a Nigerian citizens who obtained Zimbabwean passports illegally. They are all accused of drug trafficking.

    "Today here at Tsholotsho we had Zesa workers going around the township disconnecting Zesa for people who will have not paid their bills but surprisingly these workers made a killing out of bribe from the community who could have failed to pay and had no disconnections made to their house but without money for a bribe Zesa was disconnected once and for all could we plse have a comment from the Zesa manager asap."

  • Is Bosso ready to eat 'Sugarcane'?

    Highlanders will cut short their mid-season break to play Triangle FC in a premiership rescheduled fixture at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo tomorrow.

    Bosso, who are second on the PSL log standings with 30 points, will be hoping to return to the summit of the log when they date the 'Sugarcane Boys,' Triangle.

    Construction of the ARDA Transau irrigation scheme in Odzi has taken off with three centre pivots installed to irrigate the initial 110 hectares and expectations are that the project will be fully completed before year end.

    The development is a fulfillment of the government's promise to establish an irrigation scheme to assist close to 1000 families who were resettled from the diamond mining area of Chiadzwa to ARDA Transau.

  • Turkey keen to invest in Zimbabwe

    Turkish Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Hidayet Eris said plans are already in place to invest in Zimbabwe and the textile industry is one of the key sectors on the spotlight.
