Security details attached to First Lady Grace Mugabe reportedly threatened to shoot the Sheriff of the High Court, Macauff Madega, when he delivered an eviction order to her house in Borrowdale suburb.
This comes as reports further indicate that she has grabbed two more properties belonging to Lebanese businessman Jamal Ahmed.
The fight is over $1,3 million diamond ring deal.
According to The Zimbabwe Independent, the incident happened on December 22 a day after High Court judge Justice Clement Phiri issued a 24 hour order on 21 December for Grace to leave the premises
"Upon his arrival at the gate, armed soldiers stopped him as he tried to gain access into the premises to serve the notice.
"The armed soldiers said the premises were a security area and the sheriff was not allowed to be anywhere near. The soldiers refused to identify themselves and even refused to take the High Court order" an unnamed source is quoted saying.
"When the sheriff tried to affix the High Court order on the wall so that the second respondent (Grace) could have access to it upon her arrival, the soldiers dragged him away from the gate to the tarred road with another soldier threatening that he was going to shoot the sheriff if he persisted".
According to reports this week, Ahmed's lawyer, Beatrice Mtetwa said they had approached the Deputy Sheriff of the High Court.
Grace was taken to court by Ahmed after she took over three of his properties, demanding that he repay the $1.35m she had paid for a diamond ring that she then decided she did not want.
Ahmed said Grace had made an order for the $1.35m diamond ring in Dubai.
The ring was for her 20th wedding anniversary but she then refused to take delivery of the diamond and instead demanded a full refund.
To avoid trouble the businessman offered to repay the money in installments and has paid back $150 000 already, he said in court documents.
Grace, 51, married President Robert Mugabe in 1996.
