Sipho Makhabane and Rebecca Malope will be part of Saturday peace prayer meeting at the Babourfields Stadium in Bulawayo.
The event is expected to be attended by all leaders of political parties in the inclusive government.
"This is one of the biggest prayer meetings ever and we are expecting Makabhane, Malope and other local musicians like Charles Charamba to grace the meeting," said Abdnenico Bhebhe, the deputy organising secretary for MDC-T on Tuesday.
"Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai has confirmed his attendance while President Mugabe, Deputy Prime Minister Arthur Mutambara and Welshman Ncube have also been invited to attend."
Bhebhe added: "We are expecting a full capacity crowd at Babourfileds."
When contacted, Zanu (PF) spokesperson, Rugare Gumbo, said the party "administration secretary Didymus Mutasa is coordinating that."
The peace prayer meeting is an initiative of Zimbabwe Pastoral Fellowship Association.
The Zimbabwe Pastoral Fellowship Association recently said the inter-religious peace prayer meeting, aims to promote mutual understanding and dialogue among the people of Zimbabwe divided across political differences, in a horizon of peace.
The prayer meeting is being held under the theme, "Peace, Prosperity, Development and Unity" derived from the Gospel of Matthew 5 verse 9.
