ZEC sets 30 polling stations for Nkulumane by elections

The Zimbabwe Electoral Commsision has set 30 polling station for the Nkulumane by
elections set for December 19.

Zanu PF candidate Killian Sibanda will battle it out with the Progressive Democrats of
Zimbabwe candidate Ngwalo Nyathi, and Renewal Democrats Zimbabwe's Sibusisiwe Mpofu. While
the MDC formations and Zapu have boycotted the polls citing lack of electoral reforms.

ZEC said it set up the polling stations in accordance with section 51 (3) of the Electoral
Act Chapter 2:13.

"The constituency command and collation Centre shall be situated at Nkulumane Housing
offices and Sithembiso Khupe shall be the constituency Elections Officer. The ward
collation centres for the constituency for ward 20 shall be at Mgoqo Primary School, ward
22 shall be at Mtshane Primary School and for ward 23 shall be at Queen Elizabeth Primary
School," reads the ZEC notice.

The seat was left vacant after the death of MDC-T MP Thamsabnqa Mahlangu.
