A political commentator and member of the People's democratic Party Vince Musewe has said according to the current developments surrounding political parties it appears the parties will not achieve a grand coalition.
"My prediction is that we will not achieve a grand coalition nor will we get substantial reforms before next elections. We are likely to see three contestants these being Zanu PF. MDC- T, ZimPF electoral pact and CODE," he said.
"This means we will four presidential candidates because I think the MDC-T- ZimPF electoral pact will exclude Presidential post. We will then get a parliamentary cooperation against Zanu PF by opposition parties. In this scenario Zanu PF will rig Presidential vote to ensure their candidate wins."
He said a government of national unity will them be put into place which includes everyone except defense police and home affairs which Zanu PF will retain.
