NUST students puzzled as results disappear from their portal

Several National University of Science and Technology students who sat for examinations last year and had their results uploaded on their student portals were shocked this week when they discovered that their results were no longer featuring online.

According to concerned students the rumours they got were that the grading system of the results was being upgraded in which students who got merits could get credits and those who got passes will remain with passes while those who got distinctions with  less than 80 marks will be graded with merits.

According to the students, there has been no official communication with them on the changes in the grading process. Students are worried that the changes were unfairly made considering the fact that they were shown the results on line and to get a different grading less than what they had in the previous results would sound unfair to them.
