Political commentator Rejoice Ngwenya has warned opposition parties to stop underestimating the ruling Zanu PF as that will make them to be embarrassed during the 2018 election.

His warning came following thew remarks by Billet Magara who said the greatest weakness of opposition parties in Zimbabwe is their failure to measure the strength of their chief opponent.

"They allow excitement and blood to rush to their heads and begin to believe their own lies. No matter how emotionally people look at a subject, it will not be changed by their anger but by their ACTIONS," Magara said..

Ngwenya said he rarely concur with Billet Magara but here he makes a good point - action.

"We do not underestimate the power of Zanu PF. We know they control all state and municipal institutions, so we should just find a way of dealing with it. It's not going to be easy in a rural arena where Mugabe and his cronies ORDER chiefs to intimidate opposition," Ngwenya said.

"But, it is us who have a responsibility of making EVERYONE over 18 to register to vote. We have to organise 'courage teams' that pass on electors messages, discredit Zanu PF at ward level and get those guys to the polling station. Asi paFacebook nepa Whatsapp tisabva! It's therapeutic!"
