Norton Member of Parliament Temba Mliswa has heaped praises on ZANU PF Bulawayo Province Chairperson elect Jabulani Sibanda calling him a workhorse who will revive the party in the province.
Writing on Twitter, Mliswa said, "In Bulawayo, Jabulani Sibanda is now back, he is a workhorse. Our only concern is that he should be at national level. Interesting that he was once accused of being Gamatox, yet he is back.
"It validates my assertion that no-one was Gamatox as it was all to bring havoc. He will bring structures, order and strong views. He is upright and honesty."
Sibanda, who the former leader of the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA) has been keeping a low political profile since 2014 when he was expelled from the party after being accused of denigrating former First Lady Grace Mugabe and being a member of the then Joice Mujuru aligned Gamatox faction.
During the run up to the Provincial elections, Sibanda said criminals taken over the revolutionary party and needed to be weeded out if the party was to be reorganised.
"They come and hide in the party and commit crimes, then people hate the party saying it is full of criminals," Sibanda said. "To the criminals, I say, it is now quarter past, it is time up. I do not care if you campaign by denigrating my name, but this party knows when Jabu is there the party will reawaken.
"This party will rise ideological and in principle, it has to be reorganised structurally and ideologically. If you do not know the aims of this party, take a step back."
