Losing ZANU PF Matabeleland North Provincial chairman aspirant Believe Gaule has been exposed by Zanu-PF politburo member Sithembiso Nyoni who called for unity among party members in Matabeleland North as she distanced herself from Gaule's alleged faction.
Gaule dropped Sithembiso Nyoni and Jacob Mudenda's names in an audio as he made claims that they were backing him in his fight against Obert Mpofu.
Believe Gaule claimed that his faction was gaining ground and he had the support of Sithembiso Nyoni, Jacob Mudenda and war veterans leadership.
Nyoni, who is also the Women's Affairs and Small to Medium Enterprises minister, while speaking to the Standard Newspaper said the province was solidly behind Mnangagwa as she called for unity among structures.
"We are tired of people dividing the province. We no longer want any leader to own people," she said in a statement.
"We are Zanu-PF members falling under the Zanu-PF structures from cell to the presidium to which Dr Obert Mpofu is the secretary of administration."
Nyoni added, "What we know is that after any elections members unite and move forward together to build the party, not camps.
"Moving forward, it is my hope that we unite and move together as a province guided by the way our president, vice-president and their presidium pull together towards 2023."
Gaule who lost the December Provincial chairmanship race to Richard Moyo has refused to obey President Mnangagwa's calls for unity after the internal polls.
He remains on the warpath and is busy mobilizing for a vote of no confidence against Moyo and the elected executive.
Mat North Province is likely to take disciplinary action against Believe Gaule over the leaked audio which had glaring blatant admission of factionalism disguised as "campaign teams."
