Obert Mpofu kicked out of Esidakeni Farm

Obert Mpofu has been ordered to vacate the Esidakeni farm, which he has previously wrestled away from Siphosami Malunga.
Mpofu who is Zanu PF secretary for administration and Sikhanyisiwe (wife) were yesterday kicked out of the farm by the Supreme Court.
In a judgment after the Mpofus' appeal to the Supreme Court, Justices Gwaunza, Chitakunye and Mwayera said the offer letter which the Mpofus have is not "sufficient basis for them to take the law into their hands and dispossess the respondents... (Malunga and others".
The judgment said Mpofu and others' farm invasion was unlawful. "It is the brazen invasion by the appellants (Mpofu and others) of the farm which disrupted the respondents (Malunga and company) who were in peaceful and undisturbed possession, which calls for spoilatory sanction."
Mpofu and Siphosami Malunga have been engaged in a serious legal battle of the farm which saw the latter using his political muscle to forcefully elbow out Malunga out of the farm.
