Man kills wife, buries corpse in shallow grave

Police in Insuza, Lupane, Matabeleland North province, have arrested Tryforward Mpofu (35) for the murder of his wife, Revai Rusive (36), whom he accused of infidelity.
The incident occurred on June 4 in a bushy area near Shweshwe village.
Mpofu allegedly assaulted his wife with switches and kicked her until she died, then buried her in a shallow grave. Villagers who witnessed the event reported it to the police, leading to his arrest.
In a separate incident, Bulawayo police are searching for Oliver Mayibongwe Mpofu (19) in connection with a murder at Ngozi Mine Squatter Camp on June 15.
Mpofu allegedly stabbed Meluleki Dube (26) in the chest during an argument while drinking beer. Dube died in the hospital, and the police are actively pursuing the suspect.
