Man impregnates own daughter

In a shocking incident a 42-year-old Plumtree based father allegedly raped his daughter for three years there by impregnating her in the process.
The matter came to light at Plumtree magistrates courts yesterday where the father appeared before Plumtree magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
He was not asked to plead to rape charges and was remanded in custody to January 3.
The state alleged sometime in January, 2013 the father took advantage of the absents of the daughter's step mother and raped his daughter.
He threatened her not to reveal the matter to anyone since it would earn him a jail sentence and she would suffer because he was a bread winner.
The father continued raping her and impregnated his daughter in 2016.
The daughter fled to Botswana after giving birth.
On Christmas day 2024 the daughter came back and saw her father at a business center.
The father dragged his daughter in the bush intending to rape her again.
The daughter managed to escape and filed a police report.
