The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) says it is now in the process of designing ballot papers and compiling the list of candidates for the harmonised elections.
The successful nomination process held last Friday has triggered a number of processes as Zimbabweans gear for the harmonised elections on the 31st of this month.
ZEC says training of polling agents for the various candidates starts this Tuesday and called on political parties to forward names who will safeguard the interests of their parties and candidates at polling stations.
ZEC Chairperson, Justice Rita Makarau said training of voter educators from non-governmental organisations and civic society has ended and that trained representatives from civil society will work together with ZEC voter educators for the harmonised elections.
The commission highlighted that it is already receiving applications for those who will take part in the special votes reserved for members of the security and law enforcement forces and ZEC officers who will be on duty on voting day.
Those taking part in the special vote will cast their ballots 16 days earlier than everyone else.
