Construction pipes kill seven year old Zimbabwean boy in Soweto

A 7-year-old boy, identified as Minenhle Sibanda, and his friend Brian Mahlentombi also 7 died soon after being crushed by construction concrete pipes in Soweto early this week.
This accident happened while his mother, Pretty Moyo, was away in Zimbabwe.
The deceased's aunt Chipo Moyo told The Zimbabwean: "The accident happened just a few minutes after they left to play with his friend. It was painful to see two tiny crushed bodies. Life is unfair.
"The managing director of Johannesburg Roads Agency, Skhumbuzo Macozom, said his organisation was deeply saddened by the accident and a loss of life in a project that is intended to improve the lives of the community.
"We offer our condolences to the families and the community for the shocking loss of these children," said Macozoma.
Police spokesman Captain Tsekiso Mofokeng said an inquest docket has been opened.
