'Zimbabwe digital migration project now fully underway'

ZIMBABWEANS do not need to panic in view of fears that the country may fail to beat the international deadline for switching over from analogue to digital broadcasting by 2015 as digital migration is now fully underway, a government official has said.
Currently Zimbabwe is gearing itself up for the digital migration that will see the country move from analogue to digital broadcasting.
Professor Jonathan Moyo revealed this in a twitter response to Njabulo today.
Njabulo asked Prof Moyo on progress with digital migration of which Professor Moyo responded by saying that Digital Migration project is now fully underway. Moyo advised that the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) will brief the media this afternoon and he will update Parliament next week.
