Grace Mugabe's 50th birthday bash set for Saturday

The First Lady, Dr Grace Mugabe turns 50 today. A banquet to celebrate her achievements will be held at the first family's Borrowdale home on Saturday evening.
Top South African gospel artist Benjamin Dube will be one of the main attractions at the banquet, with other artists such as Oliver Mtukudzi and Dr Tawanda famed for his popular song ‘Unconqerable' billed to perform.
The First Lady has dedicated her position to helping abandoned children and people with disabilities through the Grace Mugabe Foundation.
She is also patron of the Danhiko Paralympic Games.
An orphanage set up in Mazowe by the First Lady is looking after 80 children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The children live in state of the art houses which she built from scratch with help from well-wishers.
Last year, Amai Mugabe entered the political fray when she was confirmed the Zanu-PF Secretary for Women Affairs at the December congress.
Born to migrant parents from the then Southern Rhodesia in Benoni, South Africa, Dr Mugabe is the fourth child in a family of five.
She moved back to Zimbabwe to live with her mother in Chivhu, while her father stayed and worked in South Africa.
She attended primary school in Chivhu and went to Kriste Mambo in Manicaland.
She got married to President Robert Mugabe in 1996 and the couple is blessed with three children, Bona, Robert (Jnr) and Chatunga-Bellarmine.
