Chaos batters Mugabe's govt

Zanu-PF's infighting is increasingly spilling into government; hampering the operations of government as Cabinet ministers are now issuing conflicting and contradictory statements.

Analysts have said judging by the way things are going it is only a matter of time before the country's economy collapses.

Meanwhile, economists and experts have warned that plans to retrench civil service will remain a pipedream as long as president Robert Mugabe is in power.

They content that earlier attempts even to scrap bonuses were resisted by the President.
