Zanu PF in another emphatic victory

Zanu PF has retained Guruve South parliamentary seat in by-election held Saturday.
 
Its candidate, Patrick Dutiro polled 19 153 votes to beat Simbarashe Mutsvene of the National Constitutional Assembly (NCA).

A total of 57 voting centres where set up.

The Guruve South seat fell vacant after the expulsion of Criswell Mutematsaka from Zanu PF.

Professor Jonathan Moyo tool to Twitter this morning to shower praises on National commissar Savior Kasukuwere for the victory.

He posted "Congratulations @Hon_Kasukuwere for winning Guruve South byelection with 19,153 for ZanuPF gaining more than 1,000 votes from 2013 election!".

Zanu PF has no recent history of losing any by-election.
