ZANU PF supporters in Mazowe North ward 28 Mvurwi were left a disappointed lot after their Member of Parliament Doctor Martin Dinha failed to turn up after summoning them on Saturday the 15th of October.

A number of elderly people in ZANU PF regalia waited patiently for Chibaba Chedevelopment as he is affectionately known by his supporters.

One elderly woman who preferred to be anonymous told Bulawayo24.com that she is deeply disturbed by the empty promises attributed to Chibaba.

"We were hoping to meet our MP so that we pass our grievances especially food challenges but it seems he is taking us for a ride since the election is over, this is now the fourth time this has happened," lamented gogo.

When contacted for comment the MP said he failed to turn up because he had rushed to attend to skirmishes in Norton involving ZANU PF supporters and independent candidate for the Norton by election Themba Mliswa's supporters.

"I did not make it because l had been called to Norton to easy up the skirmishes. Quizzed further by this reporter why his attendance was necessary in Norton whilst foregoing a meeting in his own constituency Doctor Dinha simply replied "because l am a "teargas"."
I will meet Mvurwi people tomorrow (Wednesday} at 10am at Mvurwi community hall and contrary to complains you highlighted l am always on the ground especially in Mvurwi," explained Dinha.

Meanwhile the Norton by election is scheduled for Saturday the 22nd of October and Doctor Dinha was confident that ZANU PF will thrush Mliswa.
