A 53-YEAR-OLD man allegedly took a couple out on a drinking spree before later sneaking into their tent undressed.
The stunning revelations were made when Peter Ndlovu of Collen Bawn appeared before Gwanda magistrate Olivia Mashava Mashaire, facing charges of unlawful entry.
The court heard that last Saturday at around 8pm, Ndlovu took Stechling Branden Leigh Thursin (19) and his wife Natalie Gillgower (31) from Horse Shoe Mine in Collen Bawn for a binge at the local bar.
Gillgower said Ndlovu bought half a litre of Nikolai Vodka and some cokes.
She told the court that while they were drinking, Ndlovu said the brew was too weak and suggested that they add more Vodka.
Gillgower, who is pregnant, said she did not drink much as her husband had advised her against drinking.
She said they drank until way past midnight and as they were leaving, Ndlovu gave Thursin some money to buy himself two quarts of Black Label.
They then drove back to the mine and Ndlovu dropped them by their tent and indicated that he was leaving.
However, the couple said they spotted Ndlovu's car parked outside when they went out to relieve themselves before retiring to bed.
Later in the night Gillgower said she was "frozen with fear" to find Ndlovu sleeping beside her undressed inside their tent and she screamed before he bolted out with her husband in hot pursuit.
Thursin gave up the chase and went back to fetch his shoes and later found Ndlovu getting dressed in his car.
Ndlovu denied the allegations saying the couple had fabricated the story after he refused to lend them some money. The trial continues today when Ndlovu's witnesses are expected to testify.
