'Tsholotsho RDC being run in illegal ways'

TSHOLOTSHO RDC NOW RUN BY FINANCE COMMITTEE TRDC in a bid to save money has suspended operations of all sub committees except the finance committee, which is now making all the decisions on behalf of full council and other sub committees.
It is assumed that the decision to construct the stadium was made by this committee as no full council was convened nor was the enviroment committee ever convened. Currently stands are being rolled out without input from the relevent subcommittee.
Councillors interviewed expressed alarm and despondency at this illegal way of running council affairs which is contrary to the provisions of the Rural District Councils Act. Comment from the chairman of TRDC could not be obtained as his mobile phone was unreachable.
