What is it with Apostolic sects that draws Zimbabwean leaders?

24 Dec 2017 at 13:18hrs | Views
Images of Zimbabwean leaders with members of the Apostolic sects is a common feature. From the deposed leader, Robert Mugabe, fallen wannabe Kasikuwere , Grace Mugabe and now The General oh eish Vice President Chiwenga.

After attending the Apostolic gatherings they open their mouths to say they have been ANNOINTED to lead Zimbabwe.!

The second President of Zimbabwe since Independence has also passed through the hands of white garments men and women. My question is are these sects divinely appointed to choose our leaders or there is something we don't know?

Is their pledge of loyalty to these leaders done for a reason? Days before the army take over Grace Mugabe was seen donned in long white garments and you could have guessed right, they were telling her she would be leading Zimbabwe! Just a word of encouragement from these Apostolic sects and holla you are lined up for the highest office in Zimbabwe. Now I wonder if they failed to see that Grace was not going anywhere !So, is it from the Holy Ghost that they bravely tell these demi-gods that they are destined for leadership or it is a case of pledging loyalty so that something will not be looked into?

There are mainstream churches in Zimbabwe with thousands of followers but why the Apostolic sect? Are they closer to God than any other church in Zimbabwe?

Few years you will remember this article when the new Vice President, General Chiwenga, says boldly he has been annoited to lead Zimbabwe.Money and other resources will be spent for the elections but the Apostolic sects will have spoken on who is going to lead.
