Eddie Cross crossed to ZANU PF long back or can be a victim of mental neurosis

Since October 2017 when Eddie Cross declared that he was a victim of prostate cancer, his political and economic analysis has not been consistent. Today Eddie Cross is in ZANU PF, tomorrow in MDC Alliance, back to ZANU PF etc. This piece seeks to demonstrate that Eddie Cross may be suffering from mental neurosis (disorder) that needs immediate cure.
Eddie Cross has been quoted by the media as the first MDC alliance member who endorsed ED following the rigged election of July 2018. Eddie Cross has a right to endorse anyone even Judas Iscariot, I don't have problems with that but I don't think his views are coming from the original Eddie Cross, he may be suffering from some kind of a mental confusion that may be related to old age or prostate cancer. This is what this piece is going to demonstrate.
On 23 October 2017, Eddie cross was quoted by the media saying, he was going to retire from politics and concentrate with his prostate cancer treatment. On 28 July 2018, Eddie Cross changed his position on retirement, he was quoted by the media saying, he was 78 years, too old and that he was going to give the young people chance because his generation has failed Zimbabwe. Eddie cross went further to endorse ED and they are almost age mates and I was expecting him to tell ED to retire too.
Which is which? We do not know whether Eddie Cross retired because of prostate cancer or old age, only God knows. This is a clear indication that Eddie Cross's mind is no longer in a good state, we expect him to be consistent like before.
While Morgan Tsvangirai was sick in South Africa, Eddie Cross opened his mouth and said, '…he is suffering from an aggressive form of colon cancer. He has been struggling with his treatment…..'. The statement threw the entire MDC Team into quandary. The then spokesperson of Tsvangirai and MDC T distanced themselves from Eddie Cross's statements. Eddie Cross went on to say that Tsvangirai should retire from politics and that even Tsvangirai's late wife(Susan) would have advised him to retire. Up to now we do not know why Eddie Cross tried to humiliate Tsvangirai while on his deathbed. What was his agenda?
On 11 October 2017, after telling the sick Tsvangirai to retire, Eddie Cross polluted the air again by endorsing ED, he was quoted by the media praising ED as smart organizer 'with clean hands' and that ED will make it as a president of Zimbabwe. From nowhere, Eddie Cross made a U-turn on 5 December 2017, he said that Morgan Tsvangirai was going to beat ED because ED made a blunder in appointing useless leaders in the cabinet. What is this now? Eddie Cross crossed back to MDC T from ZANU PF. I think something is wrong with his (Eddie Cross) mind.
On January 2018, Eddie Cross jumped off the MDC T boat again, was quoted by the media praising ZANU PF, this time, he predicted ZANU PF victory. On 15 March 2018 following the death of Tsvangirai, Eddie Cross endorsed Chamisa via YouTube published by Dairy News. Eddie Cross was confident that Nelson Chamisa was the right person to bury ZANU PF. On 28 July 2018, Eddie Cross (just few days) before the 2018 election predicted ZANU PF victory and that ED was going to win the presidential election by a wide margin against Chamisa.
Conclusion
The endorsement of ED by Eddie Cross should not come to you as a surprise because Eddie Cross started to warm up for ED and ZANU PF when Tsvangirai was alive. However, the contradictions in Eddie Cross' s statements should not be taken for granted he could be having some serious mental problems. I am requesting people close to him to consider taking him to a nearby mental hospital.
