ZETDC come to our rescue please
05 Mar 2019 at 16:14hrs | Views
Maybe a technical explanation from ZETDC will rest my heart and mind. Power out or power cuts are a common occurrence in Harare and other towns.
Indeed we hear the government has 'boots and equipment' on the ground trying to sort out the problems bedeviling the power utility. However, in Msasa Park area of Harare whenever there is a power outage its always the same section that goes in darkness and power-induced hunger.
Houses along the southern part of Mukuvisi Avenue, Mauya Road, Nzunza Road, Tsimba and the surrounding area. The other side of Mukuvisi Avenue is hardly touched. I hope its not a case of the nearest switch or easily accessible road.
As ZETDC go about with their switching off and on would you please consider giving this corner a break? Compounding our nightmare is the 'never well explained' answers from the faults office.
Either one does not get through or the officer on the other end has not yet heard of the fault and you should check later. Indeed we are in the rain season and faults are never in short supply but can the relevant department be fair in their dealings with consumers. We appreciate the effort to keep us powered but 'that corner' in Msasa Park is always holding the tapered end of the power stick, could be ten or so houses.
Please help!
