Tsvangirai mania engulfed Budiriro Township in Harare leaving Emmerson Mnangagwa red-faced. Declaring Budiriro a liberated zone led to a great sigh of relief to the residents of the Hon. Costa Machingauta led political district.

Following the annexation of Budiriro and the violent looting of the Muzarabani flood victims' donations, MDC T President led his delegation to the political hot spot to quell and bring to order the rowdy Zanu PF militias who had since set base in the area.

Dr Tsvangirai addressed several hundreds of residents at the Member of Parliament's residence and encouraged the people not to be involved in violence. Not mincing his words, the leader of Zimbabwe's largest political outfit warned misguided Zanu PF elements to desist from perpetrating violence as this will lead to social and political unrest in the country.

In an act last witnessed almost a decade ago, Dr. Tsvangirai revisited his former self and donned his courage and bravery coat leading his entourage to the so called Zanu PF no go area. Leading from the front, displaying the persona that endeared him to the masses and gave him the status of the people's liberator, he thundered and addressed thousands in the open fields where some women in Zanu PF regalia scattered only to be invited back to hear as the man himself spoke to the people.
In attendance were several standing committee members, the Stanly Manyenga led Harare MDC T youth assembly among other organs of the party.

Harare province chairman Erick Murayi thanked the people's president for liberating the declared no go area. Contacted for comment, Godfrey Gomwe the thug-in-chief of the Zanu PF and state sponsored militias in Harare, he didn't have much to say though conceding that he could not match the great numbers behind Dr. Tsvangirai and crew.

Human rights activists thanked and complimented Dr. Tsvangirai for bring peace without resorting to violence. Speaking on condition of anonymity, residents expressed gratitude for the great act of courage by the MDC T Leader, "We are grateful for being free persons again. The thugs had taken us hostage and the mandatory three meetings on a daily basis at the thugs' instigation had already been announced. We were in the process of being forced to contribute a dollar for every household to fund Mugabe's birthday bash which is not fair. We are happy that the Zanu PF torture and extortion base has been dismantled"

Dr. Wangu Mazodze is MDC T Spokeperson and here he writes in his personal capacity as a peace loving citizen of Zimbabwe.
