Bulawayo soccer giants, Highlanders Football Club's fine performance on the pitch does not reflect the Bulawayo giants finances as the side has sunk deeper in debt.

Bosso's debt has increased to $497 000 from $349 911 in January.

Also the club owes several players signing on fees amounting to $70 000.

Club treasury Odial Nkomo told members on Sunday that they owe Bhekimpilo Ncube $5 000, Masimba Mambare $2 620, Peter Moyo $2 000 and Dumisani Ndlovu $1 500.

"For the first half of the season the club was operating on deficit of $89 302 compared to the first half of last year of $20 780.

The figure could probably have been less if we had played Dynamos" said Nkomo.

In gate taking Bosso has realised $42 747.

On owing players, Nkomo said: "We are not allowing any player to sign for less than two years. We want continuity at the club," adding that the club is owed $14 000 by Caps United for Stephen Alimenda's transfer in 2010.
