Bosso Academy lifts the Benjani Mwaruwari Under 16 Youth cup

Highlanders Academy are the champions of the Benjani Mwaruwari Under 16 Youth Festival after edging out the the defending champions Bantu Rovers Juniors in a closely fought encounter that saw the teams going into extra time which also failed to separate the two teams during the normal time and extra time.The teams were tied at 1-1.

So tense was the game that the Highlanders coach was asked to leave the technical area by the referee, so tense that Mark Mathe had to be romped in to communicate with technical bench and assume the assistant role and at the end of the game Dumaza Dube announced his arrival at Highlanders with a trophy.

Highlanders goal-keeper Brighton Zulu was the toast of the day after saving three penalties to see Bosso subdue fighting Bantu 3-2.

In the semi-finals that was dubbed the final before the finals Highlanders beat FMH Academy 2-0 while Bantu taught the Street kids a football lesson when they beat them 3-0.

Highlanders keeper Brighton Zulu was voted the goalkeeper of the tournament. The player of the tournament went to the Bantu player maker Denzel Khumalo while the top goal-scorer award was shared by Zibusiso Tshuma and Nkosana Ndlovu of Highlanders. Nkosana is the son of the current Highlanders assistant coach.

Ali 'Baba' Dube and Simba Rusike were tasked to identify the above mentioned individuals.
