HIGHLANDERS Academy coach Melusi "Mabaleka" Sibanda has said four of his players will be promoted into the Bosso senior squad for the 2016 Premier Soccer League campaign.
The Bosso youngsters earned themselves promotion into the Southern Region League after emerging runners-up to Talen Vision in the Zifa Bulawayo Division Two league.
Sibanda said Prince Dube, who was the Division Two top goal scorer, Thamsanqa Ncube, Brian Banda and Adrian Sillo were ready for first team action in the Bosso senior side.
"I believe these four can make the senior team grade given their zeal to succeed. They've already started training with the (senior) first team and this should be a highlight for them to up their standard of performance to fit in," said Sibanda.
Percy Maphosa, Vincent Dube, Charlton Siyalonga, Nqobizitha Mpofu and Brian Jarabaza will also be promoted into the Bosso senior squad.
These would be replaced in the Academy team by players from the Bosso Under-18s.
Sibanda hailed his players' performances in Division Two, saying their talents were put to good use as they managed to gain promotion into Divison One.
"The season was quite challenging but we managed to sail through in second place. If we're given the greenlight to play in Division One next season, we'll perform even better than in Division Two," he said.
