WE saw it coming. It was going to happen this year. It has happened before. No-one can rule out the possibility of it happening next year. One of Zimbabwe's oldest and troubled soccer clubs, Zimbabwe Saints has made a public intention to approach the High Court of Bulawayo seeking an order stopping its relegation from the Castle Premier League.

This is not the first time, Chikwata - as Zim Saints is affectionately known by its fans, to drag soccer matters before the jury.

This time around , the club says the decision to relegate any of the teams in the premier league can only be taken after investigations on allegations of corruption on the part of referees are complete.

Zimbabwe Saints organising secretary, Jabulani Chinyangarara could neither confirm nor deny that his club wanted to challenge relegation saying :

"We have quite a number of games that we officially complained about to PSL and we are waiting to see what decision or action will be taken," he said.

He refused to say which games were in dispute.

A number of matches have been controversially handled by PSL officials resulting in the soccer mother body preferring foreigners to handle local matches as in the Dynamos FC - FC Platinum games.
