ZESA employee electrocuted in Bulawayo

A Bulawayo ZESA employee who was fixing a power line along 6th Avenue at the city centre was electrocuted and sustained minor injuries.
According to eyewitnesses, the employee was fortunate enough to survive the incident and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
In another related incident this Monday, suspected copper cable thieves were severely burnt after they were electrocuted by a 66 000 volt power line in Umguza district.
The event led to the death of the alleged thieves whilst the other accomplice sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Mpilo Central Hospital.
