ZANU PF Mashonaland Central Politiburo Members (PB) Kenneth Musanhi, Fortune Chasi, Walter Kananga and Munyaradzi Machacha pounced on Mazowe District yesterday to sort out political rivalry between the Party Provincial Chairperson Kazembe Kazembe and Mazowe District Coordinating Committee (DCC) chairperson Tafadzwa Musarara in Mazowe West.
The Politiburo members were summoned by Musarara after Kazembe's supporters allegedly caused mayhem in Concession during a party restructuring exercise chaired by Musarara. The most Mash Central Provincial member Kenneth Musanhi told the duo to unite and foster development in the district for the good of the party.
"ZANU PF is supreme than individuals we know Musarara and Kazembe you have a beef which dates back to 2013 when you were in the same Parliamentary race but that should end now, we no longer want to entertain violent issues from Mazowe unite and build the party," bellowed Musanhi.
"We are not a violent Party and what we heard last week is not a ZANU PF record lets burry the past and move forward, unity we stand divided we fall.
Other politiburo members present emphasized the need for unity and Machacha was instructed to find a neutral venue in Harare for the two to iron out their differences.
There was a bit of drama at the Dandamera hall the day PB members came as Kazembe's supporters tried to shift again the venue for the discpinary meeting from Dandamera hall to Concession country club.
Eventually the meeting was held at Dandamera hall the same venue that caused chaos and the Pb members told the gathering that DCC should conduct their duties without fear or favor.
