Miss Zimbabwe USA 2011 crowned

Elizabeth Chitseko was crowned Miss Zimbabwe USA 2011. The 20 year old Certified Nursing Assistant and member of National Tech Honor Society from Oklahoma is looking forward to her year long reign as well as a chance to represent Zimbabwe in the upcoming Miss Earth 2012.
The new beauty queen is interested in raising money to buy school uniforms for primary school kids in rural Zimbabwe. Her runner up was Melissa T Rhoades (1st Princess, Wisconsin) and Ruvimbo Katiyo (2nd Princess, Kentucky). Miss Photogenic was won by Tiwi Makamure from California.
Scores of families attended the Family Day activities on Sunday afternoon. New Youth FC from Cincinnati won the much anticipated Soccer tournament in a heavily competed final against Zim Atlanta FC.
The last standing teams played over 6 games in the two day tournament for the ZimExpo Soccer trophy. The next event, ZimExpo Canada will be held in Toronto, Canada, July 16 & 17 2011. Please visit www.zimexpo.com for more information about ZimExpo's activities.
The purpose of ZIMEXPO is to showcase Zimbabwe. Every year we have an expo in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and South Africa. During ZimExpo events, we encourage both Zimbabweans and the local community to participate.
