27/04/2015 08:06:54: ‪+27 7* *** ****‬: Hello Bulawayo 24 News.

I would like to respond to the writer who said: (Bulawayo was already occupied when Mzilikazi and his regiment occupy that area). Dube is not a stupid as this writer labels him.

Otherwise this Dube is 100 times more clever than this writer. If the writer is a real clever person who knows what a Ndebele is. He/she was not going to talk like this. Let me brief this writer and his stupid fellows.

A Ndebele consists of many tribes including the Shona people. Ndebele was made of Shona people who were found at that area, Khalangas, Tonga, Sans, Venda, Nguni people, Sotho and many more.

No-one was driven out of Matebeleland. All these people remained there, and together forged into one nation or tribe (Ndebele).

The writer lacks a knowledge that most people from Matebeleland they originated from that particular region, and very few came from South Africa. E.g people like Sans, Khalangas, Nambya, Tonga and so on.Unlike the people from Mashonaland who originated from Tanzania and Malawi.

So now can the writer separate a San or a Khalanga from a Ndebele. The people of Matebeleland regardless of one's origin are now one. We live in harmony, we work and live together and share what ever we have. We speak in one voice no matter whether one is of a Shona, Nguni, Sotho, San, Khalanga or Venda origin.

We are now one nation one people. We understand what Dube is talking about, but the writer labels him a fool. Matebeleland never belonged to the whole bunch of Shona people from Mashonaland of today. Yes I do agree with this, this stupid writer on one thing.

Matebeleland belonged to Shonas also, but today they are all speaking Ndebele or Khalanga or any other languages spoken in Matebeleland.

They're  components of Ndebele. This doesn't mean that all Shonas of today can claim that Matebeleland is theirs. No! No! No!, this is very little and dangerous knowledge. Actually people who can claim that Matebeleland is theirs if they're any. Is the Sans and Khalangas. That's why Matebeleland is got a high percentage of Moyos than any other part of the country and these are the origins of Matebeleland or the rest of the country.

On the other hand, I don't blame this writer, because I know that they were taught false history. They don't even know the role that was played by people like Dr Joshua Nkomo. That's why they were calling him with some names. Belittling a man who shaped the lives of all Zimbabweans including of President Robert Mugabe.

The writer says Dube is a grade seven. I value a grade from our region than a person who holds an A-level certificate from Mashonaland, there's a lot of corruption there. Many people boast of high level education certificate which were fraudulently acquired. In Matebeleland if a person holds a grade seven Certificate that will be genuine one.
