A snap-shot of the current political dynamics in Zimbabwe

The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class are to represent and repress them. - Karl Marx. In 1980 we decided that Mugabe and crew oppress us. Over the years the only choice that was forced down our throats was to decide on the recycled, politically spent and economically clueless maggots, but brutally repressive representatives from ZANU PF. Now it is high time that we dislodge this repressive and brutal organization that is now illegally oppressing us. It's time that we come together as a nation to choose a less oppressive group that might be accountable for the governance of our country.
I agree with the western donors that Morgan Tsvangirai should unite with not only Joyce Mujuru, but with other progressive forces that have the same objective-toppling the Mugabe illegal regime and lead Zimbabwe back to prosperity. While we can achieve our individual goals by so many people forming little groupings, let's remember that, "Society does not consist of individuals but expresses the sum of interrelations, the relations within which these individuals stand" - Karl Marx. We can be a formidable force if we make meaningful interrelations in which we can stand as united individuals with the same focus. In other words stand alone individuality is overridden by individuality within social interactions guided by a common cause. Apart from finding strength in our different political views and approach, by coming together as a united force, we will not divided our support base which has already been weakened by the fear instilled in it by the dreaded state security machinery.
My Fear
I have lost trust in some political entities. While Dr. Joyce Mujuru can be a powerful force to reckon with if she is co-opted in the opposition team, she cannot be trusted anymore since she has on several occasions, after her expulsion from ZANU PF, pronounced loud and clear her total allegiance to Mugabe and ZANU PF. How can she lead the opposition forces when she is ZANU PF and regards Mugabe as her father? Political turncoats like Biti and of late Maxwell Shumba(Morgan Tsvangirai's strategist who proved to be an opportunist) with his Zim First party have betrayed the trust bestowed on them by the Zimbabweans. Biti formed MDC Renewal Team. He managed to sway some MDC T MPs to join his new party. They were recalled from parliament and lost an appeal with the Constitutional Court of Zimbabwe. He deserted the team and left for the USA, leaving the team reeling in confusion without a leader. I believe Biti had, with the help of ZANU PF, a well orchestrate plan to destroy MDC-T and the opposition in general. He did it excellently. Well done Biti. MDC-T is weakened because their representation in parliament is reduced by 21 MPs. Should we trust Biti if opposition forces are to join hands? I am convinced that these people are ZANU PF agents who should not be trusted.
My Confusion
The political dynamics in Zimbabwe in relation to the global politics leaves me in a state of confusion. In 35 wikileaks cables, Dr. Joyce Mujuru's name is cited as the main conspirator to forcefully topple Mugabe or even plotting an attempt on his life with the help of some outside powers. She categorically denied any involvement in such activities. If she was not working in cohorts with the west to topple Mugabe, why does the west twist Morgan Tsvangirai's hand to join forces with Dr. J. Mujuru (in order for them to give him financial aid), who publicly and vehemently spelt her total allegiance to a regime the west wants to change?
If Welsman Ncube, Dr. Simba Makoni, Biti and other political leaders are really genuine opposition forces, why does Mugabe treat them with kid gloves? There was never a moment when I heard that these guys were beaten or harassed by the CIOs or had their lives attempted on. Are they really genuine opposition leaders or are double agents of ZANU PF?
