Nkayi hit by 'cyclone marginalisation'
15 Mar 2017 at 10:39hrs | Views
Mr editor I hope you will find this worth publishing. My home village is 20 km past Nkayi growth point and this takes a whooping 3hours to cover the 20 km using a small car and thanks to being in Matabeleland.
From Bulawayo is the famous Nkayi road that went under construction in 1999 and they still have not done 50km to date , thanks to being in Matabeleland. Mr editor I am not secessionist but some times the things which these guys say gets you to think, are we really Zimbabwean.
We shall wait and see if Joram Gumbo will assign a dollar to the roads in Matabeleland in his 20 000 000USD rehabilitation for roads, seeing that the allocation is for Dineo, we are still gropping with effects of cyclone Eline and cyclone marginalisation .
The obvious will be said, Nkankezi brigde on your way to Maswingo is priority because people are affected as compared to Ndebeles of Nkayi.
To get to Nkayi fast, one has to go to Gokwe via Gweru. At least we have an alternative hey, we shouldn't complain, only those going to Maswingo shouldn't get there via Chibi or Chivu what ever comes first, so theirs will be a priority.
