The Ministry of Primary and Secondary education in conjunction with the Ministry of Public service should with immediate effect launch a serious investigation into the behavior and conduct of the Headmistress of Kuwadzana 6 primary school and the district education officer for Mabelreign/Warren park district.

The combination of Mrs Chimwe and the District education officer a Mrs Gweme has seriously contributed to the deterioration of learning standards at one of the highly rated primary schools in the area.

Learning standards have seriously deteriorated since the departure of her predecessor Mr Joseph Kabasa who raised learning standards at the school.

The parents agreed at one of their meetings to award incentives to teachers at the school with the intention of motivating the teachers.

The school head withdraw withdrew everything from the teachers claiming to have been instructed by the district education officer Mrs Gweme.

We are very much aware as parents that in Kuwadzana that the ministry ordered schools to pay ten percent of the collected levies which amounts to about sixty dollars per teacher but the head at Kuwadzana 6 decided and boastfully withdrew the incentives to fix parents and the teachers and is in the process of mobilizing political thugs from Zanu-PF to disrupt the AGM and beat up parents who are going to push for the reduction of levies since the government has reduced incentives.

There has been serious abuse of school property by the headmistress Chimwe who was seen using the new school car to campaign for Zanu-PF claim to have the sympathy of the district education officer Gweme an issue that could trigger emotions at the forthcoming AGM.

The Warren park/Mabelreign district of the ministry of education is believed to be the worst managed district in Harare and the most controversial one since Gweme took over.

Morale is currently at rock bottom at Kuwadzana 6 and no learning has been taking place since January when schools opened.
