JOHANNESBURG - Waya - Waya hitmaker and Rhumba legend Allen Ndoda Ndlovu's music is blossoming and spreading like wildfire in a dry veld. The reload of the popular Zindala Zombili is living testimony.
First released in 2002, on a cassette, the scintillating album was and is still a hit such that Allen Ndoda Ndlovu and the Challengers are set to release it reloaded, on a compact disk. Originally with 6 tracks, 'Sekuphazamisekile' has been added to the album which featured and will still star hit tracks like: Bakadzi, Ngiyinyamazana and Mama. The album was recorded at Freddy Studios here in S.A and produced by Dumie ''Commando'' Sibanda.
Ndlovu is set to drop his much anticipated album on the 27th of February here in Johannesburg, making it his 19th masterpiece including 3 albums released versus Madalaboy and the other versus Joseph Silwane.
"That album was loved and is still loved by so many people, when buying my latest releases, they always ask about Zindala Zombili and I wouldn't break my followers' hearts. I have done it for them as they always stand by me. Salute pluz ijambo phansi,,,,,waya waya" said Allen.
"We are celebrating 20 years in music this year and the calendar of events is already set , we will start shows as from the 28th of February until mid April around Gauteng Province as many as they are . Also in Rustenburg and in Limpopo , others in Botswana , then we cross into our Zimbabwe where we are going to have shows in Victoria Falls and shoot a DVD yale i Cd eyaphula i recocd lokudayisa u Smomondiya," said manager DJ Mapressa.
The icon from Makhulela in Plumtree started music in 1996, his music is played across all radio stations in Zimbabwe and in Phalaphala FM here in S.A and Pantego (Malawian internet radio station). He has shared the stage with Rhumba greats like Ndux Junior, Ndolwane Super Sounds, Gift Amuli and the artists he groomed: Tjabhuda and Mxolisi Mr Bones.
