A Tsholotsho teenager was arrested by after villagers who suspected that he had raped a donkey after they found fur on his manhood and trousers.
Zibusiso Tshuma, 18, of Godzo Village line ran out of luck after a man who had spotted him doing the sickening act notified other villagers who then examined him and eventually arrested him.
Tshuma appeared before Tsholotsho provincial magistrate, Abednico Ndebele, facing bestiality charges.
Prosecutor, Sikhumbuzo Sibanda told the court that on 16 October this year, Tshuma drove a white female donkey to Mguzana River bridge where he allegedly raped the poor animal.
"Still in the act, Tshuma noticed a motor vehicle driven by Mandla Gumbo and immediately stopped what he was doing and stood some five metres from the donkey facing south," Sibanda told the court.
The prosecutor said Mandla drove from the scene and watched Tshuma through his rear view mirror and saw Tshuma going back to the donkey for a second round.
"Gumbo then stopped at a nearby homestead and picked up two men and proceeded to the scene where they found Tshuma driving the donkey northwards," he said.
The court heard that the three stopped Tshuma and accused him of having raping the donkey.
He denied the allegations and the three men ordered him to remove his pair of trousers.
They then discovered some semen on his pair of trousers as well as white donkey fur around his manhood and trousers.
After failing to explain how the donkey's fur had got into his privates, the matter was reported to police leading to the accused's arrest.
Tshuma pleaded not guilty and was remanded out of custody to 4 November
