President Mnangagwa must respect the constitution

5 hrs ago | 76 Views
Despite opposition from other political factions, the 2030 is finally beginning to gain traction.

A unanimous decision was made by ZANU-PF Mashonaland West Province to advocate for a constitutional revision that would enable President Emmerson Mnangagwa to continue serving as the ruling party's president and first secretary until 2030.

Cde Misheck Nyarubero, the secretary for administration for ZANU-PF Mashonaland West, affirmed the resolution. This is absolutely absurd.

Mnangagwa must just respect the constitution of the country and abide by it. It is illegal to extend his term beyond.

While other nations focus on constructing large-scale projects, Zimbabwe's leadership is occupied with vying for power and advocating for a term extension. In the hopes of receiving a car from Wikinero, the incredibly dim squad varakashi and others are determined to revere Mnangagwa as a hero.

Term limitations apply in a number of nations, including Botswana, South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Zambia, and others. What is wrong with Zimbabwe, our nation?

By naming him Cremora and claiming that he was irreplaceable and could rule from the grave, some former pitiful members of parliament attempted to do the same with the late Robert Mugabe on behalf of Zanu-PF.

We witnessed it, and we are aware of its conclusion. The fact that these Mafikizolos have assumed the role of leaders and are now commodities that can be sold to the highest bidder is regrettable.

Why does Mnangagwa, who identifies as a constitutionalist, remain silent whenever his followers abuse term extensions? He only needs to abide by the constitution.

For the umpteenth time, Mnangagwa has made it abundantly evident that he is the one who genuinely wants to extend his term, albeit by feigning that the people are supporting him.

The wall has the writing on it. We are familiar with these autocrats; they may seem to support the constitution, but they are constantly tempted to use it to their advantage and claim that "look, the people love me."
