Mbeki must stop bootlicking

27 May 2015 at 08:59hrs | Views
EDITOR,

Recent utterances attributed to Moeletsi Mbeki against President Robert Mugabe require that he be told to stop licking the undressed booties of his white South African godfathers and playmakers of his skewed understanding of Africanism.

Moeletsi, a loose cannon continuously attacking Zimbabwe and its leadership over the years, deserves a serious rebuke.

Mbeki's comments reflect a simple mind that looks up to whites for his livelihood. It has nothing to do with the aspirations of Zimbabweans.

We have a history that has shown us that we don't need Uncle Tom and brainwashed blacks to help us understand who we are. We are a proud people whose legacy is a genuine drive for African development and empowerment.

The glory in which Moeletsi is boasting in the South African economy has very litde core contribution from himself and his fellow countrymen. He is happy to follow while his masters dictate his future.

Why hero-worship a race that has rendered his countrymen second class citizens in their motherland?

He is too brainwashed to see the caste system in South African community where whites are top, followed by Indians, coloureds and finally a dismal fourth for the people that call themselves the owners of the country.

Mbeki is a disgrace to his illustrious brother Thabo Mbeki who served his country and still serves Africa with distinction. Such a wayward mouth cannot be left to go unchecked.

Moeletsi should expend his energies helping uplift his South African compatriots who are reeling under oppression by his masters, the whitemen.

Moeletsi is denigrating his benefactors, after spending time in this country as a refugee during the apartheid era, to please his paymasters.

Why brother are you turning a blind eye to the suffering of South African people due to racial inequalities? Are you afraid to confront whites?
