Delta Beverages CEO steps down

Mr Joe Mutizwa steps down as Chief Executive Officer of the Group and director of the Company on 31 May 2012 after a distinguished career with the Group spanning nearly 30 years.
He was appointed as chief executive Officer in April 2002, having joined the Group in March 1983. He leaves the Group in a very strong position.
Mr. Pearson Gowero has been appointed Chief Executive Officer with effect from 01 June 2012.
Pearson is currently the Chief Operating Officer, a position he assumed in July 2011 on his return from a secondment to the SABMiller Group where he was the Managing Director of Zambian Breweries for five years.
Prior to the secondment, he was Executive Director responsible for beverages operations since 2003, having joined the Group in 1997.
He was appointed as chief executive Officer in April 2002, having joined the Group in March 1983. He leaves the Group in a very strong position.
