ZITF revises dates

THE 56th edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair has revised it trade showcase dates.
The ZITF flighted an advert in newspapers informing all exhibitors, visitors and delegates of the change of dates for this year's exhibition.
The trade showcase which was supposed to run from April 21 to 25, under the theme, "Stimulating trade…seizing opportunities to accelerate growth" but will now run from April 28 to May 2.
From 28 - 30 April it will be the exclusive business days and ZITF International Business Conference will be held on 29 April with the ZITF Charity Golf Challenge taking place on 30 April.
Zambian President Edgar Lungu will officially open the Ceremony on 1 May.
Public days have been penciled for 1 - 2 May.
The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mike Bimha said he was satisfied with the preparations for this year's event.
Last year the company sold a total of 95 percent of space.
He said enquiries from foreign exhibitors continued to come and they expect the remaining space to be taken up in the coming weeks.
Some of the countries expected for the fair include Bangladesh, China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malawi, Mozambique, Poland, South Africa and Zambia.
