Ahmadinejad meets Mnangagwa

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad received Zimbabwe Defense Minister Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa in Iran on Tuesday evening.

According to the report of the Iranian presidential Office Website, Ahmadinejad told Mnangagwa that resistance against enemies' pressures and sanctions should continue and the pressures should turn into opportunities for progress.

He added that when a nation decides to move forward, it will certainly achieve valuable results.

Ahmadinejad continued that Iran and Zimbabwe have always been close to each other in different fields, because both of them are against the same enemy and both are trying for human values and interests of their nations.

He added that Zimbabwe is growing with a very suitable speed in different fields adding that progress in African countries like Zimbabwe indicated that when a nation decides to move forward, God the almighty will bestow good results to that nation.

Ahmadinejad stressed Iran's readiness to expand relations in all fields with Zimbabwe.

Mnangagwa, for his part, pointed out that Iran, after 33 years of its revolution and in spite of all pressures and sanctions of arrogant powers, is continuing its own way of progress.

He also called for expansion of ties with Iran and added that the two countries have many commonalities in international fields and Zimbabwean people, like Iranians, are resisting against pressures and sanctions of enemies.
