On Monday, Bulawayo24.com got hold of a picture of a vendor clutching a POS machine while selling mazhanje in an open truck.
Some financial institutions are renting out POS machines for a commission.
Most people have embraced the use of plastic money for transactions at various outlets including at churches.
However, several government departments are still demanding hard cash for services.
