Mutambwi Sec ‘O’ Level record breaker appeals for fees

GUTU - Taurai Chagwiza (17who has set new record for Mutambwi Secondary School of Munikwa, Gutu by obtaining 9 As at ZIMSEC O' level in 2016 is appealing for sponsorship to pay fees for his A' level studies.
Chagwiza has enrolled at Dewure High School which offers science subjects at A level and the school requires $500 per term for fees which he does not have as the aunt who used to pay for him has since lost her job as a shop keeper.
"l wish the boy could get help in time because he has proved himself to be a brilliant student who can persevere," said Gwinyai Maragare Mutambwi school head.
Chagwiza is looking for well-wishers who can help his fees and his dreams of being enrolled for the Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics program which launched by the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development in 2016.
Chagwiza transferred from Mutambwi School because the school does not offer science subjects at A level and at Dewure he is doing Maths, Physics and Biology. He is currently staying with his grandfather since his parents are divorced.
Chagwiza has 4 units at grade 7 from Kubiku Primary school
