There is chaos in Mashonaland Central province over the vice-chairperson post which fell vacant after the ex- vice-chairperson Epmarcus , Kanhanga was promoted to Politburo thereby replacing the late Perence Shiri.

The Provincial chairperson Kazembe Kazembe is reported to be pushing for his allay Oscar Gorerino who is the secretary for transport to the position.

Gorerino's current post is number eight on the party's hierarchy.

Another faction is suggesting that the secretary of admin Joseph Mapiki should replace Kanhanga since he is third on party hierarchy.

Gorerino has not been popular with the people after his fights with miners in Shamva while scrambling for gold using party resources.

Although Kazembe is said to be pushing Gorerino to get the post people in Guruve district said both candidates are taking over the post which belongs to them to Shamva district.

"The vice chairperson post has been ours Guruve district but now we have the provincial leadership wanting to give it to Shamva since both Gorerino and Mapiki are from Shamva.

Contacted for comment Kazembe said party issues are not issues are discussed on the right forum not the media.
