A 35-year-old Harare woman has been arrested for allegedly killing her husband over infidelity.
The woman, Leoba Muzondo retaliated after her husband, Farai Tsatse (39), who accused her of infidelity missed her with a brick.
After the brick missed the target, Muzondo took a metal hoe and fatally assaulted the man.
National police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident.
"Police in Harare are investigating a murder case which occurred on December 18, 2021 at 2200 hours. Meanwhile, in a related case, police are appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Emmely Ndaradze of 5908 New Canaan, Highfield, Harare who left a four-year-old child asleep in a candle lit room until she died of suffocation. Police said disputes, disagreements or any form of misunderstanding between relatives, friends, workmates or other members of the community should be resolved in a peaceful matter without resorting to the use of weapons to either injure or kill another person.
